How to remove the news ticker (or other items) from your toolbar:

  1. Click the arrow to the right of the If Americans Knew logo
  2. Choose “Toolbar Options” from the dropdown menu (it is the last item on the list).
  3. Click “Predefined Components” and uncheck “News Ticker” and any other component you wish to remove from your toolbar.
  4. Choose “OK” and you are done!
